The 36th Annual USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum will be held September 13-15, 2012, in Tampa Bay Florida.
The Forum theme is “Leadership in a World of Service.” Its Mission is “To develop leaders, motivate and educate
attendees, provide an open exchange of ideas, and support programs and goals of Lions Clubs International.”
MANY lions, including yours truly, who have attended USA/Canada Forums, have said the Forum is the greatest of
all LCI venues for learning about Lionism, for gaining new ideas, and for bringing back valuable information to your
Club.
The Forum Committee has developed a lengthy list of exciting seminars that will give you many new ideas to take
home and implement with your clubs. Many new seminars, including a highly entertaining one on fundraising
practices that will be given by a MD 22 Lion, and several facilitated by Past International Presidents, will be
presented.
Motivational presentations by Our International President and three other motivational speakers- James Malinchak,
Mary Feeley, and Steven Fulmer will inspire, educate, and entertain you.
Perhaps you have long wanted to make purchases from the Lions Supply Catalog and never found time to do so.
The well-stocked Forum Store will be the place for you to spend some time shopping for a variety of Lions
merchandise.
When you are not participating in Forum activities, there will be a plethora of exciting things to do. You will have time
to enjoy many Tampa Bay offerings. The city is rich in history and offers the best of Florida in one location. Disney
World, the Gulf of Mexico, Bush Gardens Tampa Bay, and many other attractions are nearby.
